Elegant CAS Christmas Cards with the Picot Petite Collection
Hello crafty friends! I’m Jean, a papercrafter blogging at Right as Rain. I am thrilled to be on the blog today sharing CAS cards created with the Picot Petite Collection by Becca Feeken. While I created elegant, quick-to-assemble cards for Christmas, the collection is suitable for occasions beyond the holidays including engagement, wedding, and anniversary. All three cards combine glimmer-foiled sentiments and metallic cardstock die-cuts. Let’s take a look! My first card combines elements from two of the sets in the Picot Petite Collection – the Filigree Quartet set and the Picot Petite Circles set – showcasing how easy it is to mix-and-match the sets. Using the large square die…

PA Scribe by Paul Antonio Inspiration | Foiled Cards with Brenda
Hey there everyone!! This is Brenda, from MyPaperCut Creations. I am absolutely thrilled to be guest posting for Spellbinders again today!! I have three completely different cards to share that showcase the PA Scribe Collection by Paul Antonio! One of our nieces is getting married next month, and I think that hot foil is perfect for wedding cards! I started by hot foiling the bride and groom’s initials from the Copperplate Majuscules Glimmer Hot Foil Plates onto periwinkle (the wedding color) paper using Silver Foil, then cutting it out with a label from the Booklet Binding Etched Dies set. I die-cut the intricate rectangle with a die from the Nesting…

Glimmer Hot Foil Inspiration | Foiled Cards with Brenda
Hello everyone!! This is Brenda, from MyPaperCut Creations. I am absolutely thrilled to be guest posting for Spellbinders today!! I have three cards to share that showcase the festive Glimmer Plates January 2019 Release!! I am really getting the hang of using the Glimmer Hot Foil System!! The foil is such a nice touch on handmade cards! A couple of weeks ago, I needed a thank you card. Sounds pretty simple, right? Except I needed one for a guy. I had plenty of thank you cards in my stash, but they were all feminine. I couldn’t send a floral card to this man. So I decided to make my first…

Spellbinders Glimmer Plates Inspiration | Clean & Simple Foiled Cards with Laurie
Hello there, it’s Laurie Willison here from Soapbox Creations. I am stopping in with a couple projects using the Glimmer Hot Foil System. I love this amazing tool and how it adds so much to a card! I wanted to make the glimmer plates the focal point of the card and to do that, I have left these cards very clean and simple. This makes for an easy card but also one that packs a punch. World’s Greatest Friend Card This first card uses the World’s Greatest Friend Glimmer Plate: To create this card, I foiled “World’s Greatest Friend” in silver foil on white cardstock, cut it out using a…
