Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Inspiration | Glittery Sweetheart Card with Jean
Hello everyone. This is Jean Manis, and I am delighted to be on the blog with another project showcasing the Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection by Sharyn Sowell. In case you missed my first post, you can find it here. Today, I have a sweetheart card combining several of the sets in the collection. To begin, I die cut pieces from the Tea Pots set (tea pots), the Coffee Brewing set (coffee pots), the Cup and Beans set (beans), and the Robin and Rosy Mug set (tea bag and heart) from white cardstock, to which I had applied double-sided adhesive. After die-cutting, I removed the adhesive and applied microfine glitter…

Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Inspiration | Watercolor Coffee Card with Yoonsun Hur
Hello crafty friends! This is Yoonsun Hur and Iβm so happy to be back on the Spellbinders blog again! For my card today, I used the Heart Latte and the Cup and Beans dies from the Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection by Sharyn Sowell. I die-cut coffee cups from watercolor paper using the Heart Latte die set, then cut out the inside of each cup using Latte die from the Heart Latte die set as well. Next, I traced circles on an A2 sized watercolor paper panel using coffee cup die cut, and colored inside the traced circles with coffee-colored watercolors. Once the panel was dry, I adhered all coffee…

Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Inspiration | Stacked Coffee Cups Card with Melissa Phillips
Hello there! Melissa Phillips here sharing a card created with the cutest, new die collection from Sharon Sowell, the Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection.Β Prepare to fall head over heels for it! I was instantly drawn to the Tea Stack oβ Cups set and couldnβt wait to create my own custom teacups using fun patterned paper. I cut two teacups from both dies used, one for the top layer and one for the bottom layer, selecting coordinating colors and patterns.Β I used the tiny hearts die and the delicate flowers die to cut decorative designs from both teacups.Β I love this fun feature with this die set. I made sure…

Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Inspiration | Mixed Media Friendship Card with Jean
Hello everyone. This is Jean Manis, and I am delighted to be on the blog with a project showcasing the Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection by Sharyn Sowell. I used the collectionβs Cuppa Love die set to create a mixed media friendship card. Letβs take a look! To begin, I created a card base by smooshing Distress Oxide Broken China ink on Bristol paper. Once the base was dry, I stamped the sentiment. I die-cut the coffee cup, liquid shape, and accent pieces in the Cuppa Love set from manila cardstock and colored the pieces with acrylic paint. Once the die-cut pieces were dry, I glued the leaf sprigs together…

Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Inspiration | Collection Introduction by Sharyn Sowell
Hi, I’m Sharyn Sowell, back again to introduce a new collection of dies for Spellbinders. Every one of my dies is an exact reproduction of what I do by cutting paper freehand with a pair of ordinary scissors. It’s kind of like sketching with scissors instead of a pen. But you get the same results with a die so much faster! I’m an occasional barista, and one morning as I worked a friend complimented me on the best caramel macchiato ever. I laughed and told her, βwe love you so we make you great coffee!β Right then I knew I just had to design the Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea collection.…

Hello Crafters!Β I’m so excited to be back today and I have a new technique to try in your coloring! When I started working with these super fun products from Stacey Caron’s Wine Country line I had no idea what to do. I’m not a wine drinker and I was a little worried I wouldn’t do them justice. However I’m all about stretching my wings so I thought about the things I love and some things I want to try. I love coloring and I really want to work on different backgrounds for creating scenes. I decided woodgrain would be too much brown so I decided to try my hand at…
