Hi everyone, this is Hussena from Quill and Punch Works, and I am super thrilled to be a Guest Blogger this month at the Spellbinders blog. I will be showcasing the new range of 3D Vignettes Die Collection by Amazing Paper Grace. I have two projects to share today. First up, I have a very intricate and detailed layered card, while the second project is a favor bag. I will start with the card first. I have used the Grand Arch 3D Card dies for creating the background for my card. I die-cut it out of some white, heavy-weight cardstock and coloured it using a teal colored ink. Die-cut approximately 35 Sprigs from various shades of green paper, using Bitty Posies Etched Dies and Platinum or Platinum 6 Machine. Attach two pieces of floral wire together to make headband form, overlapping by several inches. (It will take two pieces of the wire to make…

Hi, it’s Elena here with you today. The wedding season is here and each time I think what can be done more for the special day other than just cards. I thought that a cute little box would be a perfect alternative to making a present. I created a box and made a peony flowers using the SR-038 Positively Peony Contour™ Steel Rule Die To create my flower I used fabric – white tulle and mauve rayon. I colored them myself several years ago when I enjoyed batik and made some paintings on the silk. It was a good time to recycle something that has been kept for so long!…

Take Your Borders to the Edge of Beautiful
Hi there, Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace here to spread my love of borders. Seriously, borders are normally where my inspiration starts on a card because I’m thinking about the framing or what special element I’m going to use to draw your eye in to the center. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been showing different frames to give your card that unique something. I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you there are tons of other ways and places you can use the same borders, in fact, today we’re going to take them to the edge. Taking one of the borders and simply cutting it from each…
