Shaped Cards with Bibi’s Hummingbirds by Joan Bardee
Welcome! Joan Bardee is here today. Delighted to share 3 colorful, shaped, cards using Bibi’s Hummingbirds Collection, designed by the very talented Bibi Cameron. This collection is very different from what I (and probably you) own. If you are looking for unique and gorgeous, this is for you. The Hummingbird Card Creator die makes an approximately 5” x & 7” card in the shape of a hummingbird. I’m also sharing another card featuring another beautiful product – the Delicate Floral Hummingbirds, which also can make a large, shaped card. You don’t have to make shaped cards with these products, but it adds a wow factor. Making a Shaped Card If…

I have three projects to share with you today that feature the new Toolbox Essentials Collection by Nancy McCabe. Toolbox Pop-up Card For my first card, I created a fun mini toolbox pop-up card. To start, I first created my toolbox base using some Kraft Card Stock, a paper trimmer, a scoring board, and some adhesive. Metamorphosis: Rainbow Colored Fun
Hello and welcome! I’m Joan Bardee and today I’m featuring 3 cards using the gorgeous Metamorphosis Collection designed by Simon Hurley. (How does Simon create so many amazing products, videos, and samples??) This collection consists of 4 sets of dies: In Bloom, Stained Glass Window, Everyday Sentiments, and Brilliant Butterflies. I was particularly smitten with the arch shape in Stained Glass Window and the collection put me in the mood for rainbow colors, so get ready for rainbows. The Stained Glass Window base die is perfect to make an arched-shaped card, so I did. Die cut a fantasy rainbow-colored bouquet (with gold accents) using the In Bloom dies. Love how…

Painter’s Garden Inspiration with Jennifer Kotas
Hello! I’m Jen Kotas from Who Stole My Glitter and I’m happy to be here today to share three cards featuring the Painter’s Garden Collection from Susan Tierney Cockburn. There are five new flower Dies in this collection along with a 3D Embossing Folder. Susan typically colors her flowers with Copic Markers and uses a special cardstock from Spellbinders. I prefer to cut my flower pieces from heavy-weight colored cardstock from Spellbinders. I added detail to the flowers with ink. It’s a time saver but I also love how the cardstock softens as I shape it but doesn’t tear. For detailed instructions on creating the flowers, please visit the Spellbinders…

Color with Cardstock – Anemone Blooms Cardmaking Ideas with Joan Bardee
I am delighted to share 3 ways (plus 2 bonus cards) to use the Anemone Blooms Collection, designed by the amazing Yana Smakula. Is it intimidating to use Yana’s products on a Spellbinders blog post? You bet it is, but here it goes anyway! I love big bold anything, so these flowers stole my heart. I wasn’t familiar with anemones and a quick online search revealed that they come in a huge variety of colors. So, use whatever colors you love; for me – pink is my first love. Hot Foiled Anemone Blooms If you are looking for maximum impact with minimal effort, just hot foil the Anemone Glimmer Blooms…

Hello, fellow crafters!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m super excited to be guest posting on the Spellbinders blog today! I am sharing three cards featuring the Tiered Tray Collection designed by Becky Roberts! I had so much fun creating these cards for three different occasions and seasons! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW HOME-TIERED TRAY The first card is a “congratulations on your new home” card! I had the modern farmhouse style in mind for this one! I began by die-cutting all of the elements for the tray from Silver Fox and Onyx Black cardstock using my Platinum 6 and the Tiered Tray Dies. I added a little shading…
