Easy and Fun Handmade Advent Calendar with Kraft Pop & Lock Boxes
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a fun handmade advent calendar made with Kraft Pop & Lock Boxes. These versatile boxes are easy to decorate and the perfect size for a little gift…so why not customize and give twenty-five of them to someone who deserves a fun surprise every day until Christmas! I started by assembling all twenty-five boxes. Just as the name suggests, the boxes pop and lock into place very easily! Each box measures about 3” x 3” x 3”, plenty big enough for something like an average-sized ornament. I’m making this advent calendar for my…

This is a super easy watercolor technique that will help you learn about how the markers work and create stunning results every time. I have 3 cards to share with you today – the first two use the Karin markers to watercolor die cuts and the 3rd shows how to apply the same method to a BetterPress image (or any image, really). Snowflake Card Ideas
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share three cards with you using Bibi’s Snowflakes collection by Bibi Cameron. This beautiful collection features lots of snowflakes that can be used for different occasions. They are perfect for winter and Christmas cards especially! WISHING YOU My first card uses the Snowflake Card Creator Etched Dies. This 6” large snowflake is perfect to add onto cards or can be used as the card itself, which is what I have done today. I cut the outer layer from white cardstock twice, made a hinge on one piece, and adhered it to the back of the other, to create a card base. I cut the…

Shaped Christmas Cards Made Easy!
Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica here, and today I want to share three unique Christmas card ideas with you. These cards are different from the usual rectangular shape. Spellbinders has a great variety of shape dies, and the largest die from any set works perfectly as a card panel. Plus, they fit nicely inside an A2-sized envelope! For all three cards, I used the largest dies from each set. I cut the bigger shape out of colored cardstock and the smaller one out of white cardstock. To add some texture, I ran all the white panels through a die-cut machine using the Vintage Ornaments 3D Embossing Folder. As for…

Christmas Stitching in July!
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share some projects with you using the new Stitched for Christmas Collection. This beautiful collection features lots of stitching dies to create beautiful handmade stitched projects. Not into stitching? You can also use these dies without stitching, they still make beautiful projects! CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS My first card uses the beautiful Stitched Poinsettia & Holly Etched Dies. I die-cut the poinsettias from Poppy Field Cardstock (both the stitching layer and back layer) and the holly from Peridot Cardstock. I then added ink blending to the layers using Distress Oxide Inks and blending brushes. I stitched the poinsettias and holly leaves using DMC Color Essentials Floss…
