Handmade Collection Inspiration | Hand Stitched Love Card by Jenny Colacicco
Hi everyone! It’s Jenny from JC Cards back again to share with you my final project showcasing the stamps and dies from the Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low. If you missed my previous two posts, you can find them here and here. My project today features the Sew and Creativity stamp and die sets. I really wanted my final project to feature a technique that was inspired by the collection itself, so I couldn’t resist adding some real (albeit very simple!) hand stitching to my card. For the background panel, I stamped the cross-stitch heart from the Creativity set multiple times in clear, sticky embossing ink onto a 4” x…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Recipe Card Gift Set by Ashlea
Hello again! It’s Ashlea and I’m back today with a fun way to use your niche stamps like the Kitchen Stamp and Die set by Stephanie Low. While an idea for a card using this stamp set may evade you, I’ve got an idea that may be perfect as a gift! When I first looked at this set I knew I wanted to make a recipe card set. I love that it’s a gift and card combo that can be mailed just as a card can, and that it is so personalized. From the handmade design down to the recipes you write on the card, it’s clear when you give…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Faux Stitched Antique Card by Jenny Colacicco
Hi everyone! It’s Jenny from JC Cards back again to share with you my second project showcasing the stamps and dies from the Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low. If you missed my previous post, you can find it here. My project today features the Yarn and Happiness stamp and die sets. I love some of the cross stitch pieces in the collection – they coordinate perfectly with the knitted images for a faux hand-stitched look, so I’ve combined them together on today’s card. The card was inspired by antique stitched samplers! To create my card, I first stamped my background panel. I used the floral cross-stitch image from the Happiness…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Baby Boy & Baby Girl Cards by Ashlea
Hello everyone! My name is Ashlea and I am so very excited to be guest designing and blogging for the Spellbinders blog this month. Today is the first post of three that I will be featuring the incredible Handmade collection by Stephanie Low. I’ll be using the Creativity Handmade stamp and die set to create two cards that use the image stamps instead of a written sentiment, yet still make a clear statement. I often stamp sentiments onto my cards to compliment the images, but I love the idea of a card where the image speaks for itself. Here, I accomplished that by using specific colored ink with the stitched…

Hello crafty friends! Thanks for joining me today. It’s Anna here and I’m back with a couple of new projects featuring the awesome Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I really love this new collection: every single stamp set is absolutely gorgeous and so inspiring! Pretty Handmade Card My first project shows how to use coordinating dies to create windows for stamped images. I had so much fun creating this card! I started working on this card by die-cutting four windows out of a white cardstock panel, using a die from the One of a Kind set. Then, I stamped the quills. I inked each one…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Made with Love Card with Yana
Hello friends, this is Yana Smakula, Spellbinders in-house creative designer. We continue to share inspiration using one of our newest collections – Handmade by Stephanie Low. See Stephanie’s post introducing her collection here as well as inspiration posts here and here. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I love to use my stamps to create the look of patterned paper. Yes, these days you can go and buy just about any patterned paper you want, but I enjoy the process of making my own design tremendously! To create this Handmade with Love card I stamped the image repeatedly onto a white cardstock panel. I was going for a linear pattern…
