Chantilly Paper Lace Inspiration | Elegant Floral Cards with Melissa. Part 2
Hello! This is Melissa Phillips again, and today I’ve got more lovely Chantilly Paper Lace cards to share with you. I don’t know if you’re like me, but I have always love Kraft cardstock. It’s a go-to, necessity, must-have item in my craft room. For my cards today, I have combined my love of Kraft with beautiful Spellbinders dies. My first card uses the Breanna’s Corset Label dies, which are a wonderful must-have item as well. They provide a perfect place to ground your elements and create standout focal points. I die cut three different sizes of them from three different colors/patterns of paper, with my top layer cut from…

Easy Elements In a Row Card
Sometimes I like to mass produce cards for friends, but I never quite want to make them identical. I’m Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace and I have an easy card to share with you today. Take a stunning element and repeat it in a row three times and you’ll get a harmonious design, furthermore the eye loves the balance of the three elements in a row. The sum of all the parts creates a unique piece with balance and simplicity. Tip: Stick to an odd number of elements in a row to create visual appeal. Your brain and eyes favor an odd number. For my card today I created a long landscape…

Chantilly Paper Lace Inspiration | Elegant Floral Cards with Melissa
Hi everyone! I’m Melissa Phillips and am so happy to be a guest blogger here on the Spellbinders blog. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing projects with you created using the gorgeous Chantilly Paper Lace collection dies. They are all so beautiful and have quickly become my most favorite dies! My first card uses the Lunette Arched Borders, which are so versatile and unique. I love that you can create delicate, detailed frames around your sentiment or focal point using these particular dies. I used these dies along with solid berry colored cardstock and framed in a sentiment that was stamped on a Vintage Pierced Banner die.…

Lavender & Poppies Inspiration | Handmade Card with Dry Embossed Panels
Hello dear Spellbinders’ fans! This is Elena Salo and I’m so happy to share my projects with you again! Today I’d like to continue sharing projects I made using dies from the Lavender and Poppies Collection. I used several sets to emboss the panel, which I used as the background for the first card. I die cut a square window in my panel and foam mounted it on the card base. I die cut Corner Poppies out of watercolor paper and colored them with distress markers. I added flowers in the lower corner of the window with double sided foam squares. I used embossed square from the previous card for my second card. I stamped the sentiment and foam…

Spring Flowers, April Showers
If you’re like me, I’m finding myself thankful to be putting away the Christmas Paper while reaching for something that harkens spring. I’m Becca Feeken with Amazing Paper Grace and spring is on my mind. Indeed, Spring Flowers, April Showers! A touch of vintage paper, lace and flowers was enough to get me dreaming of flower gardens beginning to bloom. For my card today I started with a 5 1/2″ x 7 – 1/2 base out of cream – this is my favorite size of card. I assemble the base from one 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock cut in half at 5 -1/2″. On one of the panels I score and…

Video Friday | Elephantastic Embellishing with Nichol
Hello everyone. This is Nichol Spohr and thank you for joining me! One of my favorite techniques when creating cards made entirely of die cuts, is to embellish and add detail with pens, inks, paints, etc. to dress up images for maximum impact. I love mixing and matching multiple dies to create one-of-a-kind scenes for my cards. The Ella-fant Etched dies made an adorable up in the clouds scene when paired with the Sun and Clouds Dies, Simply Said Phrase Set 2 sentiments, and Pierced Rectangles and Circles. For the background of both cards, I used the Pierced Rectangles and Circles dies to die cut smooth white cardstock to create…

Love Set Match Inspiration | It’s Your Time To Shine with Laurie
Hey there! It’s Laurie Willison here with a couple more projects using the Love Set Match Collection by Debi Adams. I love her adorable little images and big unique sentiments. For my first project, I used the set called Love Bunch. I created a simple card base by adding the sentiment along the bottom and then rounding each of the corners with my Corner Chomper. I die cut and colored the lunch box and thermos using Copic Markers and then added them to a scored, circle die cut. I popped the circle up on foam tape and then attached that to the card. These fun little images make for the best clean…
