The gorgeous BetterPress designs, pretty sentiments, and ornate die sets in this collection all work together beautifully to create stunning cards with ease. Here I chose a pretty purple palette to work with the collection and create three cards for different occasions. This is such a fun collection based on playing cards and can be used in lots of different ways! Jack of All Trades collection by Jaycee Gaspar is available on January 10th 2025. Elegant Peacocks
Hi folks, Kavya from @handmadebykavya is here with some fun inspiration for Dawn Bibby’s new collection – Peacock Paradise. I love peacocks. They are the national birds of India and have a prominent place in history and important life events like Weddings. I have three beautiful cards using a bunch of products from this collection that are perfect for life’s most important moments. Textured Peacock My first card uses the stunning Glorious Peacock die. It’s large and takes most of the space in an A2 card. This lets you create a beautiful card with minimal work! I started off by ink-blending the edges of waterfall cardstock with blue dye ink…

Die Cutting Dioramas With Tunnel Scapes
Hello there, Michelle Short here and I am delighted to be back on the Spellbinders blog using the Tunnel Scapes collection. This is such a fun collection that focuses on creating scenes with dimension, kind of like mini dioramas but more on the 2D side, rather than the 3D side. These cards can get pretty dimensional if adding foam tape in between all the tunnel layers, but they would still look great without the foam tape, or with less layers if you didn’t want them to be so bulky. I used thin foam tape for mine so that I still got the dimension but with slightly less bulk. UNDERWATER TURTLE…

Mixing Embossed Layers for Unique and Elegant Cards
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of cards with tons of texture thanks to the new Sealed 3D Botanical Collection from Spellbinders. The beautiful 3D Emboss & Cut folders, new 3D wax seal stamp designs, and unique nested shape die sets in the collection inspired me to create three cards with tons of color and texture. Colorful Floral Congrats Card When embossed panels serve as my focal point on a card, one of the easiest ways to make them pop is to get a little inky. Here I combined a beautifully detailed (and inked) vignette made…

Using Modeling Paste with ColorSpark Watercolor Powders and Corner Rounder Punch
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I have a few cards to share with you showcasing how to mix modeling paste with watercolor powders. I made three cards using The Crafter’s Workshop Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste along with a variety of TCW ColorSparx Watercolor Powders and the 1-2 Punch: Corner Rounder + Notch. The technique of mixing modeling paste and watercolor powders is super easy to do and can allow you to get some vibrant colored backgrounds and/or designs on your cards. I love how versatile these watercolor powders are because you can also mix them with water to create liquid watercolors to use on your cards…

I love the bold floral designs in the Fresh Picked line, so I tried to pick some fun color combinations to use with them while adding extra touches with ink. Bright Floral Hello Card I normally try to build my floral cards using colors you might actually find in real life, but the Fresh Picked Angel Trumpets Die Set is such a unique design that I decided to pick bold colors and really amp them up with…
