Hey crafty friends! It’s Leica here, and I’m thrilled to be sharing three fantastic cards with you on the Spellbinders Blog. Today, I’ve got some brand-new goodies from the Simon Hurley collection to show you. Each card has its own unique style, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Let’s kick things off with the first card. I started by using an A2-sized Glacier cardstock for the base, and to add some texture, I ran it through a machine using the Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder. Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica here, and I’m excited to share three cards I made using the new Stampendous Hugs Collection from Spellbinders. These critters are just too cute, and I had a blast creating these cards. Let’s start with my first card. I used the Stampendous Kitty Hugs Etched Dies to cut out an adorable kitty from Fog cardstock. I used different colored cardstock to create all the other elements and filled the card with these cute pieces. Adding a party hat and a bow gave it a playful touch. Enhance Die Cuts With Ink Blending With Michelle Short
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share three projects with you using the new Photosynthesis Collection. This beautiful collection features lots of florals, which I love! Since it also features mainly die cutting, I wanted to show how you can enhance die cuts by adding ink blending. This really adds interest and dimension to clean and simple cards! My first card uses Floral Stems Etched Dies. I cut the cone flower top petal layer from Snowdrift cardstock and the bottom ones from Purple Mist. I then cut the flower centers from Chamomile and the stems and leaves from Peridot. Using Blending Brushes, I blended on Distress Oxide Inks, focusing the…

Hummingbird Cards 3 Ways with Jung AhSang
Hello crafty friends! Itโs Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I made 3 cards using the new Hummingbird collection from Bibi Cameron. For my first card, I used the larger Delicate Floral Hummingbirds die set to make a 5×7 card. I started out by die-cutting all the pieces from white cardstock. I cut the 3 flower stamens from mirror gold cardstock. I used different combinations of green ink to ink blend the larger greenery outline, as well as the leaves. Hello and welcome! Iโm Joan Bardee and today Iโm featuring 3 cards using the gorgeous Metamorphosis Collection designed by Simon Hurley. (How does Simon create so many amazing products, videos, and samples??) This collection consists of 4 sets of dies: In Bloom, Stained Glass Window, Everyday Sentiments, and Brilliant Butterflies. I was particularly smitten with the arch shape in Stained Glass Window and the collection put me in the mood for rainbow colors, so get ready for rainbows.
