Jane Davenport Artomology | Dream catchers with Zsoka Marko
Hello crafty friends, Zsoka is here and I’m back with my third and last blog post in my Jane Davenport Artomology series! If you’ve missed the previous two, you can find them here and here. For today’s post I’ve made a scrapbook layout and a card using the Fair Feathers Etched dies. The idea is the same on both, a dream-catcher. Besides the dies I also received a couple of other products from this collection, and I really didn’t want to waste them! There are two packages of washi sheets (Washi Girls and Washi Mermaids) and with amazing designs that would make stunning art journal pages, but since I don’t…

Jane Davenport Artomology | More Cardmaking Inspiration with Enza Gudor
Hello, everyone! Enza back with you to share my third and final post showcasing the Artomology collection by Jane Davenport. You can find the other posts here and here. This set of cards features the Mermaid For Each Other and the Sea Flower Etched Die Sets. For the first card, I created a background with the wave border die included in the Mermaid For Each Other set. I cut it several times out of different shades of blue and teal patterned papers, that I arranged from lightest to darkest to achieve an ombre look. I also added some pink tulle behind the waves for texture, and machine-stitched everything in place…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Floral Mixed Media Cards with Zsoka Marko
Hi there crafty friends,ย Zsoka back with you today with the second part of my 3 blog post series showcasing the gorgeous new Jane Davenport collection at Spellbinders, called Artomology! If you’ve missed my first post, you can find it here. I have 3 cards for you today, all using the sameย Sunflower Journal Etched dieย in slightly different ways. For my first card I die cut two Sunflower Journal flowers from a light pink patterned paper from the Maggie Holmes Willow Lane collection (I actually used this collection on all my cards today). I then backed one of the flowers with 2 different pink patterned papers. I die-cut some stems and leaves…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Cardmaking with Sunflower Journal Dies with Enza Gudor
Hi everyone! Enza here, and thank you for joining me. This is the second of three blog posts I’m sharing this week showcasing the fabulous Jane Davenport Artomology die sets. You can find the first post here. Today I have a set of cards featuring the Sunflower Journal Die set. The first card is a shaker, which was inspired by the size of the sunflower. I love how big it is! I started by die cutting the flower directly from a card panel that I had previously trimmed to measure 4×5.25โ. I then backed the opening with a piece of acetate cut to size, and applied foam tape all around…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Colorful Mixed Media Cards with Zsoka Marko
Hello there crafty friends, Zsoka here with you today! I’m super excited to join Spellbinders for another 3 blog post series – this time creatingย with a very special and unique collection, Artomology,ย by the oneย and onlyย Jane Davenport! Now if you know my work, you know that I actually rarely do mixed media, but I was super intrigued by the metal dies because they are so different from what I normally use! A totally different style for me, that is fantastic for art journals, but I was up for the challenge to come up with projects that are still my style. I hope you’ll like them! I personally can’t wait to see…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Muse Mixed Media Card with Mona Toth
Hello everyone, it’s Mona here, thank you for joining me. Today I am featuring The Artomology collection by Jane Davenport. This time I was focusing on using Washi Tape Sheets, Smooth Markers and Colorist Stickers. I hope you enjoyed my previous posts, if you missed them you can find them here and here. First I made a 4,25″x5,5″ card base. I cut off a piece of the Washi Girls Washi sheet and adhered to the white cardstock. I love the girl and the used colors on it. Next, I made a huge flower wreath to the girl’s hair for which I used more flowers and feathers from the Colorist Stickers…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Deep Breath Mixed Media Card with Flรณra Mรณnika Farkas
Hi Ladies! Itโs Flรณra Mรณnika Farkas here on Spellbinders Blog with my last card made with the amazing Jane Davenport Artomology collection. ย Today I will use how I combined the lovely Girl and Mermaids Washi Sheets and show you how awesome to layer them on each other. Even if the two Washi Sheets have different theme, itโs so easy to combine them as they match because of the artsy style perfectly. First, I placed the Mermaids Washi pieces on a white card stock. I cut out a girl face from the other pack and adhered on the top. The washi is a bit transparent so they kind of melt together…

Hello everyone, it’s Mona Tรณth here, thank you for joining me. Today I am showing you my second card with the amazing Artomology collection by Jane Davenport. This time I am focusing on using Flower Girl Stencils, Smooth Markers and Colorist Stickers. I never before painted and colored a face on a card but with stencil and Smooth Markers it was really easy. I hope you enjoyed my previous post, if you missed it you can find it here. First I cut an A2 card base, then I picked one of the Flower Girl Stencils. Next I picked the lightest “Chick” color from the Feathered Friends Smooth Markers pack, and…
