BetterPress and Yasutomo Watercolors & Brushes
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. For my projects today, I’m working with the Yasutomo Aquarelle watercolor pallet and Yasutomo Fusion brushes. I made a beautiful card, featuring the Let’s Celebrate BetterPress collection by Yana Smakula. After I gathered my supplies, I started out by adding a light wash of color to an A2 porcelain BetterPress cotton panel. I added 3 different pinks from the watercolor pallet to the Yasutomo porcelain flower dish and watered the colors down significantly. Then, I added a thin layer of water all over the cotton panel. Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back today to share a couple of projects using the new Stained Glass Bouquet Collection by Becca Feeken. I was inspired by the intricate background patterns and gorgeous florals to try a few different materials to create three unique cards with tons of layers. Elegant Thank You Card Since the collection is inspired by stained glass patterns, I wanted to create a card that had that same strong contrast you normally see between lead and glass. Hi crafty friends! Lea Lawson here today to share a card set featuring the new products from Yana’s Blooming Birthday collection. This is such a gorgeous collection of Glimmer Hot Foil plates and coordinating dies. Let’s take a look at how I created these cards! I started by working on foiling the backgrounds to 4.25” x 5.5” panels of heavyweight watercolor paper with my Glimmer Hot Foil System.
