This release consists of three parts, the Nailed It Glimmer plate, All the Tools essentials dies, and A Cut Above the Rest sentiment stamps. In this collection, I started with the Nailed It Glimmer hot foil plate. Foiling has gained a lot of popularity in the last couple of years. It’s an easy way to add something special…

Metamorphosis Collection Cards & Tag Ideas
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share some inspiration using the Metamorphosis Collection by Simon Hurley. This is a wonderful collection that is perfect for cards, tags, scrapbook/art journals and so much more! I have two cards to share with you today, as well as a tag. HELLO I am using the In Bloom set for my first card, which is such a pretty layering floral die set. I die-cut the flower petals from Glacier, Raindrop, and Cosmic Sky Cardstock. I then cut the centers from Chamomile and the leaves and stem from Peridot Cardstock. All of the layers were ink blended on the edges using Distress Inks and then…

Metamorphosis Collection Cardmaking Ideas
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I made 3 cards using the new Metamorphosis collection by Simon Hurley. Butterfly Hugs Card For my first card, I used butterflies, stained glass window, and sentiment dies. I started out my card with the stained glass window. I used Distress inks to ink blend a panel of white cardstock. Next, I taped the outer die to the detailed die to keep the spacing the same. I die-cut my ink blended panel with the stained glass window die, and I diecut 3 more panels from white cardstock to layer behind for…

Metamorphosis: Rainbow Colored Fun
Hello and welcome! I’m Joan Bardee and today I’m featuring 3 cards using the gorgeous Metamorphosis Collection designed by Simon Hurley. (How does Simon create so many amazing products, videos, and samples??) This collection consists of 4 sets of dies: In Bloom, Stained Glass Window, Everyday Sentiments, and Brilliant Butterflies. I was particularly smitten with the arch shape in Stained Glass Window and the collection put me in the mood for rainbow colors, so get ready for rainbows. The Stained Glass Window base die is perfect to make an arched-shaped card, so I did. Die cut a fantasy rainbow-colored bouquet (with gold accents) using the In Bloom dies. Love how…

Four Petal Sweet Day Flowers 2 Ways
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I have two projects to share with you today that feature the gorgeous new Four Petal Sweet Day Flowers stamp set. Stamped Floral Card For my first card, I created a bold floral card using the Four Petal Sweet Day Flowers Clear Stamp Set along with the new Essential Four Petal Labels Etched Dies. To start my card, I first created my card base from a 4.25” x 11” piece of Snowdrift Card Stock. I scored this piece at 5.5” along the long side and then used a rounded corner punch to give my edges a curved look. Next, I die cut…

Stitched Fan Cardfront Dies – All, Some, and One Die
Welcome! Joan Bardee is here today. I’m so happy to share 3 completely different ways to use the beautiful Stitched Fan Cardfront Etched Dies. I’m also going to share some tips for using stitching dies for those of you with little to no experience with them (that’s me!). Warning: it’s addictive. All the Dies This card uses all 5 Stitched Fan Cardfront dies – they cover an A2 card perfectly. Die cut in blue cardstock and stitched each of them with blue embroidery floss. I like the tone on tone for this card. Hot foiled “thank you” from Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die using opaque white…

Four Petal Wonderful Tulips Foiling & Stenciling Step-by-Step
Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial with you using the Wonderful Tulips Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set combined with the Wonderful Tulips Layered Stencils from the Four Petal Collection. STEP 1 Start off by cutting Champagne Glimmer Foil to size using Quick Trimmer. I like to have a bit of wiggle room around the foil plates but don’t want too much that can lead to over-foiling. Keep any little bits you cut off; they are perfect for sentiments! STEP 2 Take the Wonderful Tulips Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and prepare to foil onto white cardstock. I like to hold foiling plates down with Best…
