Outside the Cart with the Add to Cart Too Collection
Hello fellow crafters. It’s Jean sharing three cards created with the Add to Cart Too Collection by Becky Roberts at Spellbinders. This collection, consisting of die and stamp sets, can be used to craft for a variety of occasions and works with the previously released Add to Cart Collection. My cards focus on the incredible variety of objects included in the sets. Rather than place the objects in the shopping cart, I created cards outside the carts. Let’s take a look. Outside the Cart – Awkward Flamingos Easily add bling and dimension to a card with glittered foam adhesive. Stamp Around the Garden sentiment in black on light-teal cardstock panel…

May 2022 Embossing Folder of the Month Kit – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi again, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the May Embossing Folder of the Month Kit from Spellbinders. With its pretty and versatile pattern, the Faux Stitch Embossing Folder is one you’ll reach for over and over again to add subtle texture to all kinds of card projects. Tiny Sunbursts Although it mimics one of the beautiful patterns in many of the Spellbinders stitching dies, the Faux Stitch Embossing Folder also reminded me of tiny sunbursts. Here I used it to add texture to the background of a bright and pretty springtime scene. Trim a…

Inspiration with Susan’s Tropical Getaway by Andrea Shell
Hello! It’s Andrea Shell with you, and I’m delighted to be back guest-designing on the Spellbinders blog. While I know that many of us are in the throes of holiday projects, I’m sharing two cards featuring Susan’s Tropical Getaway Dies. Think of this as a mini vacay! My first card uses the gorgeous Hibiscus Dies from the Tropical Getaway Collection. Don’t those flowers look so realistic?! That look is easy to achieve when you use Susan’s Specialty Cardstock and her Ultimate Took Kit and follow her methods for coloring and shaping the flowers (For tutorials visit the Spellbinders YouTube channel). I did that for both of my projects. To color…

Spellbinders Halloween 2021 Collection Inspiration with Sheri
Hello! It’s Sheri again from My Sheri Cards and I am excited to be sharing 3 Halloween projects I created using the Halloween 2021 Collection. Some of these die sets are designed to work with the Open House Collection but I wanted to show that you can use them all on their own too! Spooky Greetings/Witch Card I love using green, orange and purple for Halloween projects. I had some Photo Play papers that were perfect for these projects. The witches hat and legs from the Let’s Be Frank die set were so fun to create and layer. They took a little patience with getting them paper pieced but I…

Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Fall Traditions Collection from Spellbinders. The beautiful fall blooms and leaves, cute turkey, and pretty sentiments in this collection inspired me to create three cozy cards perfect for sending your Thanksgiving or autumn thank yous. Thankful Leaves Card My favorite part of this collection is the variety of autumn leaves, flowers, and acorns it offers. I combined large and small blooms together in warm colors on this simple and bright thank you card. Trim a piece of Alabaster Cardstock to 4.25” x 5.5”. Die cut…

Fall Traditions Collection Inspiration with Andrea Shell
Hello! It’s Andrea Shell (www.blissfullyscrappy.net) with you today, and I am delighted to be guesting for Spellbinders! I am so ready for fall and had a lovely time creating with the gorgeous Fall Traditions Collection whilst dreaming of cooler temps and warmer colors. The Fall Traditions Collection pairs beautifully with the Open House Collection released in July, so for my first card I’ve also used the Open House Door Base and Door Side Panel Die Sets. I backed the windows of the door and side panels with acetate and gray cardstock. For my background I trimmed white cardstock to a 5 1/2″ square and scored it to give the impression…

Be Merry Collection – Inspiration with Andrea Shell
Hello! It’s Andrea Shell here with you, and I’m super excited to be guesting on the Spellbinders blog again. I got to play with the amazing Be Merry Collection, and I’m totally smitten with it! These stamps and dies are so much fun, and I think you’ll agree with me. Family & Friends Shopping Spree Card My first card features the Shopping Spree Dies, which I cut from a combination of cardstock and Deco Foil Flock. To cut the flock details, I first adhered the flock to white cardstock and then die-cut it with the Shopping Spree Dies. For the gifts I used the Christmas Wishes Paper from the November…

The beautifully illustrated images in this collection inspired me to create three easy and fun cards for a variety of occasions. Cute Boots & Windy Sky I fell in love with the images in the Cute Boots Stamp Set and had to color up that little girl with the umbrella right away. Add a fun backdrop stamped with the Windy Sky Stamp Set and you have a pretty card perfect for sending a little cheer to a friend. Stamp the large girl image from the…
