Fresh Florals with the From The Garden Collection by Wendy Vecchi
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of cards made with the new From The Garden Collection by Wendy Vecchi. The beautiful floral designs and fun sentiments in this collection inspired me to create three bright and pretty cards perfect for sending a springtime hello. Floral Thanks Card I love the classic shapes and sentiment included in the Heartfelt Thanks & Scallops Die Set, so I decided to play with this first. Here I stacked up lots of layers and added some pretty die-cut florals for this thank-you card with a slightly vintage style. Trim a piece…

Easy and Fun Handmade Advent Calendar with Kraft Pop & Lock Boxes
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a fun handmade advent calendar made with Kraft Pop & Lock Boxes. These versatile boxes are easy to decorate and the perfect size for a little gift…so why not customize and give twenty-five of them to someone who deserves a fun surprise every day until Christmas! I started by assembling all twenty-five boxes. Just as the name suggests, the boxes pop and lock into place very easily! Each box measures about 3” x 3” x 3”, plenty big enough for something like an average-sized ornament. I’m making this advent calendar for my…

Simple Techniques with Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I am here to show you a few simple ways that you can use Karin Brushmarker Pro markers when card making and/or crafting. My card today features the Karin Brushmaker Pro 12 Piece Basic Color Set along with the adorable Dancin’ Figgy Pudding Etched Dies Set. If you’ve never tried using these markers before, I highly recommend them because they’re fairly simple to use. They are water-based markers with a brush-like tip, making them easy to control where you want your color (ink) to go. They also blend very well, therefore making them possible to mix together to make a variety of…

More Betterpress Christmas Inspiration
Hey friends! I’m Mindy Eggen and I’m so excited to be on the Spellbinders blog today to share inspiration using the More BetterPress Christmas Collection. I have been looking forward to working with this collection and creating some stunning cards quickly and easily. One of my favorite things to do when working with BetterPress plates is creating backgrounds. I personally like to create the background first and then add the BetterPress design which is what I did for two of the three cards that I’m sharing today. The first way that I wanted to add color was by watercoloring a nighttime sky for the Seasons Greetings Evergreens. After the panel…
