Christmas Cards with Simon Hurley Timeless Trees Collection
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I am thrilled to be back on the Spellbinders Blog today sharing some cards that feature products from the beautiful new Simon Hurley Timeless Trees Collection. I immediately fell in love with this collection at first sight! My first card showcases the new Classic Christmas Tree Die Set combined with the gorgeous Branches 3D Embossing Folder. To assemble my tree, I first die-cut all my pieces from a variety of colored card stock. I used two shades of green card stock for my tree, making sure to use the darker green for my background piece. To add some shading, I lightly blended…

Making Extras with the Beads of Friendship Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas is here today with three cards featuring the Beads of Friendship Collection. This collection has tiny press plate or stamped letters to create lots of friendship bracelets to use with or without the die-cut hands. There are also die-cut shapes and bracelets. For these cards I created multiples of everything except the hands and stamped sentiments and letters. I have a lot leftover that I can pull out for future use with other components of this collection or I could even pair them up with the new Shine Bright Collection. This wonderful collection features lots of dies that are perfect for winter, Christmas and the holidays. My three projects all feature snowflakes used in different ways. MERRY CHRISTMAS PENGUIN For my first card, I am using the beautiful Frozen Flurries die (which can be used in so many different ways!) as well as Playful Penguins. These sentiment sets will go perfectly with almost any other Spellbinders product that you own and can be used all year round. My first project is a 6.5” x 3.5” slimline card that showcases the new Four Seasons Etched Dies. I combined the “Autumn” die along with some previously released fall-themed die sets.
