So Many Sentiments for Birthday Fun!
Hi, Dina Kowal here with a fun birthday suite! New this month is a collection of sentiment stamps and coordinating dies with abundant options for birthday greetings. Each of the products in the All the Sentiments release is interactive, with multi-step greetings, a gift card holder, and an innovative envelope die set that can even be used to make a cute gift box! I started off with a birthday card and a matching envelope. I really wanted to highlight the A2 Gift Card Holder and Envelope Dies here because I think this set is so clever! The set includes some mix-and-match word dies which can be combined for birthdays or…

Getting More Mileage from Modeling Pastes with Add-ins
Hey there, Spellbinders artists and enthusiasts! Daniel West here, with some inspiration and a few tips for stenciling with TCW Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste and White Modeling Paste. Sometimes we see a simple product in basic white and wonder what we can do with it. But these pastes work like a blank canvas you can use as is or add in colors and glitter for different effects. The Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste boasts a wicked short drying time and a true-to-its-name texture. This paste lays down quickly and without fuss. When I stenciled it onto my projects, I noticed it didn’t seep in under the stencils because of…

Simple and Sweet Love Cards with the House Mouse Winter Collection
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of sweet love cards made with the new House Mouse Winter Collection. With such detailed and adorable images in this collection, you can keep the other elements of your card pretty simple and still create eye-catching projects! I started by stamping the image and one of the sentiments from the Snuggle Up Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink. After coloring the image with Copic markers, I fussy-cut it out with scissors and trimmed the sentiment out into a strip. To create the background, I trimmed a piece…

Mini Slimline Friendship Card I loved the detail in the Scattered Flowers Wax Seal Stamp so decided to try that design first. Here I chose rich colors and gold accents for this pretty mini slimline friendship card. Melt Black Wax Beads and press with the Scattered Flowers Wax Seal Stamp on a silicone mat. Once cool, lightly apply a gold metallic marker over the raised areas of the seal. Die cut white, Onyx, and Mirror Cardstock with the Sealed Gingko Die Set and assemble the sprigs…

Metamorphosis Collection Cardmaking Ideas
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I made 3 cards using the new Metamorphosis collection by Simon Hurley. Butterfly Hugs Card For my first card, I used butterflies, stained glass window, and sentiment dies. I started out my card with the stained glass window. I used Distress inks to ink blend a panel of white cardstock. Next, I taped the outer die to the detailed die to keep the spacing the same. I die-cut my ink blended panel with the stained glass window die, and I diecut 3 more panels from white cardstock to layer behind for…

The simple and pretty pattern of the Botanical Diamond Embossing Folder makes it super versatile and perfect for all kinds of card projects. Faux Antique Tiles Look The beautiful patterns in the Botanical Diamond Embossing Folder reminded me of antique tiles, so I wanted to try to create a card inspired by that first. Here I used ink to create a distressed letterpress look to use as a background for this pretty spring hello card. Trim a…

The gorgeous layered florals and ornate background designs in this collection inspired me to create three bright and pretty cards for a variety of occasions. Gerber Daisies Card Gerber daisies are my favorite kind of flower, so I had to play with the Layered Daisies Die Set first. I added lots of bright colors and shading to my flowers with markers for this bold slimline card. Die-cut white cardstock several times using all of the components of…
