Spring Has Sprung!
Hi folks, Kavya from @handmadebykavya is here with some fun inspiration for Simon Hurley’s new collection – Tulip Garden. I love playing with dies, especially ones that can be used in multiple ways. You will find that the collection is versatile as well! I have three cards for you today, all inspired by different painting styles! Renaissance Tulip Painting My first card was inspired by Renaissance paintings. Muted florals on dark green faded background provides enough contrast for an interesting card! I started off by ink-blending some dark green cardstock with dark green and black dye inks. Then, I die cut the card using Stitched Starry Argyle die, Infinity Punch…

Monster Birthday Cards
Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I have a few cards to share with you showcasing the new Monster Birthday Collection. I absolutely love this collection! It’s versatile enough to make cards for individuals of all ages, and the designs are super adorable! For my first project, I created a mini slimline card measuring at 3.5” x 6.5”. I then used the Dancin’ Birthday Monster Etched Dies to die-cut three little monsters from a variety of colored card stock. The fun part about this card is that the monsters’ legs swing back and forth when you tilt the card from side to side. For my card background, I…

Hello crafty friends! It’s Rachel Alvarado from RachelAlvaradoDesigns.com. I am here to show you a few simple ways that you can use Karin Brushmarker Pro markers when card making and/or crafting. My card today features the Karin Brushmaker Pro 12 Piece Basic Color Set along with the adorable Dancin’ Figgy Pudding Etched Dies Set. If you’ve never tried using these markers before, I highly recommend them because they’re fairly simple to use. They also blend very well, therefore making them possible to mix together to make a variety of…

Fall Birthday Cards with The Birds & Bees Garden Collection
Hey dear friends! It’s Angela Tombari here! I have a set of birthday cards to share with you today. I made them using the beautiful The Birds & Bees Garden collection. Spellbinders releases always gorgeous collections but, maybe because of the type of flowers, maybe because it’s fall-themed, I particularly enjoyed The Birds & Bees Garden one. The first card I would like to show you is created with the negative piece of Pom Pom Dahlia and Ladybugs die. This die set is supposed to create 3D Dahlia flowers and cut several nested flowers. I used the biggest metal die, which contains 8 flowers and I cut it twice on…

Vibrant Rainbow Palette Using Simon Hurley’s Leaf Prints
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here and I’m happy to be back on the Spellbinders blog sharing 3 bright, colorful cards using Simon Hurley’s Leaf Prints stamps and dies. Leaf Prints is a set of beautiful solid (no coloring!!) red rubber stamps of leaves and there is a coordinating set of dies available. Leaf Prints is perfect for fall cards, and normally I would go with a typical autumn color palette, but I used a vibrant rainbow palette instead and I love how they came out. Although, when you get to the 3rd card, you’ll see I’m second-guessing myself. Let me know what you think. RAINBOW BOUQUET This card packs a…
