Spring Has Sprung Mini Notecards
Hello friends! This is Mindy Eggen and Iβm excited to be on the Spellbinders blog to share with you some inspiration using the House-Mouse Spring Has Sprung collection. These are such great sets where you can stamp out a bunch of images, pack a handful of markers, and color on the go! You donβt even need to do a lot of coloring as these are so artistically drawn. All of my images are stamped on Hammermill cardstock with alcohol marker-friendly ink. I followed the lines of the artist using my Copic markers to color in the image and enhance the look of texture with my darkest color of marker. This…

Shaped Christmas Cards Made Easy!
Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica here, and today I want to share three unique Christmas card ideas with you. These cards are different from the usual rectangular shape. Spellbinders has a great variety of shape dies, and the largest die from any set works perfectly as a card panel. Plus, they fit nicely inside an A2-sized envelope! For all three cards, I used the largest dies from each set. I cut the bigger shape out of colored cardstock and the smaller one out of white cardstock. To add some texture, I ran all the white panels through a die-cut machine using the Vintage Ornaments 3D Embossing Folder. As for…

Itβs Time to Get Stitching with Stitched for Christmas!
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here and Iβm happy to be back on the Spellbinders blog sharing some holiday cards using the Stitched for Christmas collection. Yes, Christmas! Iβve been crafting long enough to remember when companies would release their Christmas products in November, which never left me enough time to use them. So, I am thrilled to see Christmas in July. Chose a slightly nontraditional Christmas color palette, substituting aqua or teal for green. Note: I made these cards before the sentiments in this collection were available, so I used sentiments from last yearβs collections. Warm & Cozy Sweater This card was inspired by all the sweaters my mom made…

Metamorphosis: Rainbow Colored Fun
Hello and welcome! Iβm Joan Bardee and today Iβm featuring 3 cards using the gorgeous Metamorphosis Collection designed by Simon Hurley. (How does Simon create so many amazing products, videos, and samples??) This collection consists of 4 sets of dies: In Bloom, Stained Glass Window, Everyday Sentiments, and Brilliant Butterflies. I was particularly smitten with the arch shape in Stained Glass Window and the collection put me in the mood for rainbow colors, so get ready for rainbows. The Stained Glass Window base die is perfect to make an arched-shaped card, so I did. Die cut a fantasy rainbow-colored bouquet (with gold accents) using the In Bloom dies. Love how…
