House-Mouse Christmas Card Ideas to Try!
Hey there, friends! It’s Leica, and I’m excited to share three lovely Christmas cards with you, all featuring stamp sets from the adorable House-Mouse collection. This collection is just beautiful, and I’ve created coordinating cards using the same colors. I’m even thinking of giving this card set as a gift to a friend! For my first card, I stamped the Mistletoe Kiss Cling Rubber Stamp Set on a white cardstock panel and colored it with Copic markers. I used Crimson cardstock to make a border around the image and for the sentiment, which I heat embossed in white. To add a sweet touch, I included a bow in gold cardstock…

House Mouse Holiday Collection Cardmaking Inspiration
Hello crafty friends. This is Amanda from Twiddlerβs Nook and Iβm very excited to be here sharing a trio of cards featuring the fantastic Christmas release from the Spellbinders House Mouse Collection. These mice stole my heart some years ago when I was first becoming a cardmaker and it thrills me to have them back to create with again. To begin my creations today, I simply cut three panels of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and stamped the main image on each one. Then I sat down to relax and watercolor each one at leisure. I love coloring these images. Theyβre forgiving for novices and relaxing for anyone! Once the panels were…

Itβs very hot days here in Italy and I’ve been having fun refreshing my mind by creating the first Christmas cards of the year! Cardmaking With Silly Santas
Hello! Iβm Jen Kotas from Who Stole My Glitter and Iβm happy to be here today to share two cards featuring the new Simon Hurley Silly Santas Stamp Set. I could not resist using as many of these adorable Santas as possible on each card. To add more shading to the stamped images, I used one lighter ink and one darker one per image. First, stamp the entire image with lighter ink. Then, tap some of the darker ink on only to the bottom and back third or less of the image. Use a small blending brush to soften the harsh line left by the ink pad and stamp the…

Iβm sharing a pair of cards using the Retro Holiday Stamp Set designed by Simon Hurley!!! I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then fussy cut them out. For the background, I die-cut a panel of Peridot cardstock with the largest die in the A2 Matting Basics A die set, then embossed it with the Holiday Floral Swag 3D embossing folder. I…

Easy Pattern Cards
Hello! Iβm Jen Kotas from Who Stole My Glitter and Iβm happy to be here today to share three cards featuring the newest Simon Hurley release. I enjoy filling a card panel with stamped images and today Iβm taking things up a notch by die-cutting the images and adhering them to an embossed panel. The texture under the images is such an unexpected and subtle surprise. For the first two cards a stamp positioning tool is necessary. The slimline cards Iβm using measure 3 1/2β x 8 1/2β when folded. Emboss a piece of 3 1/4 x 8 1/2β white cardstock with the Mandala 3D Embossing Folder. Splatter with bronze…

Today, I’ve got some brand-new goodies from the Simon Hurley collection to show you. Each card has its own unique style, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Let’s kick things off with the first card. I started by using an A2-sized Glacier cardstock for the base, and to add some texture, I ran it through a machine using the Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder. It gave the card panel such a cool texture! I then stamped, colored, and cut the images from the Hot Diggity Dog…
